Quito strengthened its international positioning at the World Travel Market London 2025

As part of its internationalization and global positioning strategy, Quito took part in the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025, held in London from November 4 to 6. The Ecuadorian capital was part of Ecuador’s national stand, with the goal of consolidating its image as a cultural and sustainable destination in the markets of the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

The World Travel Market is one of the most influential events in the global tourism sector, recognized for bringing together leading industry players—destinations, operators, airlines, marketing agencies, and specialized media—in a space dedicated to innovation, exchange, and business development.

During the event, Quito presented its tourism offer focused on authentic experiences, historical heritage, local gastronomy, and urban nature, aligned with the motivations of the contemporary traveler. This participation contributed to the goals of Quito’s Strategic Tourism Plan, which promotes the destination’s internationalization through participation in global fairs and the promotion of CAVE markets (Cultural, Adventurous, Green, and Ethnic).

Participation in WTM London marked the beginning of the “Feel the Center of the World – Europe 2025” promotional tour, an initiative that brought Quito’s image to various European cities throughout November.
